It's been two years since the United States Supreme Court reinterpreted our US Constitution to allow corporations to spend unlimited amounts of money to influence our elections and elected officials. Now more than ever we need state laws that stop people’s voices from being drowned out by corporate and special interests on Election Day.

Harbor Country Progress is excited to announce our first team training with Organizing for America on Tuesday 2/21 6 PM at the Progress Center. We are getting started on reelecting President Obama and spreading the word about all the great things he has accomplished. We have had enough of the "nattering nabobs of negativity"!
We had a lot of fun in 2008 are looking forward to getting together with all our friends who helped President Obama get elected. This will be a great time to learn about the strategies that Organizing for America will be using and what you can do to help. Caitlin O'Rourke from OFA will be hosting.
